Experience
James Ellis, Ph.D in Geology and Principal, has 39 years of global experience imaging and mapping geology and environments with satellite and airborne remote sensing imagery. Ellis GeoSpatial uses Harris ENVI 5.6 and Hexagon ERDAS Imagine image-processing software, ESRI ArcGIS Pro 2.8 and ArcGIS Desktop 10.6 with 3D Analyst & Spatial Analyst extensions, and Global Mapper software.
My focus now is
1) providing remote sensing & GIS educational products to help others gain practical knowledge that improves their standing in the workplace or in school, and
2) documenting the maturation of remote sensing by providing case histories that span the past 3-1/2 decades.
